CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer has been awarded a ‘Community Leader Award’ by the Suit Up Charlotte organization.
Officer Robert Goodwin has been a member of the CMPD since 1987. He works as a community coordinator in the Central Division and works full time on the ‘Homeless Outreach Project’.
Officer Goodwin was nominated for his exemplary community service and his ‘Unwavering Leadership’ while serving others.
