Man’s Body Found Outside Troutman Animal Hospital

TROUTMAN, NC: The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 33 year old Jeffrey Allen Gillespie. He’s accused of killing 25 year old Robert Joseph Swedlund in the parking lot of Troutman Animal Hospital early Tuesday morning. Gillespie is believed to be armed and dangerous. Sheriff Darren Campbell says Swedlund was involved with Gillespie’s ex-girlfriend and the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute. Sheriff Campbell says Gillespie has family between Charlotte and Virginia and could be anywhere in the region.
