Police: Chewing Gum Kills Female Basketball Player

WASHINGTON, PA — Chewing gum is believed to be responsible for a girls death at the California University of Pennsylvania.

Senior Shanice Clark was reportedly found in her appartment unresponsive over the weekend.

Medical officials believe that Clark aspirated on chewing gum while sleeping, but the cause is still under investigation.

Shanice Clark played for the schools basketball team and was reportedly looking into a career in broadcasting after college.
