Alert: CPCC’s Phone System Is Down

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CPCC wants the community to know they are having issues with their phone service and can not receive calls at this time.

Β The issue has been ongoing since Tuesday, January 20th. Β The college is working with their phone provider to get the issue resolved. Β 

CPCC asks any college students trying to connect with CPCC employees or departments to do so via email. Β Directors of all CPCC employees can be found here:Β http://appserver.cpcc.edu/edirectory/default.asp.

Officials say outside calls will ring and sound normal for a caller but when college personnel attempt to answer, the line sounds disconnected and the caller cannot be heard. Β The problem is affecting all CPCC campuses and the WTVI/PBS Charlotte TV Station. Β 

CPCC cannot predict when the phone service will be restored. Β Any updates on the situation can be found via CPCC’s social media pages.
