City Council Passes $22 Million Blue Line Extension Funding Increase

Β CHARLOTTE, NC — City Council unanimously approved a plan to give the Blue Line Extension project another $22 million in funding.
The funds cover unexpected delays in construction. Β Taxpayers won’t have to pay extra because there’s money set aside to cover the cost.
The Blue Line Extension is scheduled to open in the summer of 2017.
