
LANCASTER, S.C. — Three men are behind bars after police say they went to the wrong house in a home invasion.
According to Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, on January 14, around 10:50 p.m., three armed and masked men entered a home on Edgemont Drive through an unlocked door. The men held the two occupants at gunpoint and demanded money. Police say, one of the three suspects then told the other two that they were at the wrong house.
Austin Collins, 17, and Matthew McManus, 25, were both arrested and charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Armed Robbery and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Carlos Romero, 16, was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st Degree and Armed Robbery. Romero will also be charged as an adult.
