SAN ANTONIO (AP) β Tony Parker scored 17 points and the San Antonio Spurs overcame another lethargic third quarter to beat the Charlotte Hornets 95-86 last night. Gerald Henderson scored 18 points, Al Jefferson had 17 points and 16 rebounds and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 14 points for Charlotte.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) β Jordan Roper scored 10 of his 18 points before halftime as Clemson built a huge first-half lead then held off North Carolina State 68-57 last night. Rod Hall had 11 points for the Tigers, who used a 25-2 run in the first half to take control and ultimately lead by 23 points.
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) β LSU held South Carolina to one basket over the final four minutes and rallied for a 64-58 Southeastern Conference victory last night. Duane Notice was the leading scorer for the Gamecocks with 12 points. Sindarius Thornwell had 11 points.
