Man on the Edge: Did the Seahawks Last Play Make Sense to You?

Just like that.  With Malcolm Butler picking off the pass intended for Ricardo Lockette, the Seahawks stumbled from a rally that could have won the Super Bowl.  Could have, would have, and definitely should have.  Except that they threw the ball on the one yard line, and nobody understands what the heck they were thinking.

It’s even worse considering the play that led up to it.  Of course, we’re talking about that beautiful catch by Jermaine Kearse, one of the wildest in Super Bowl history.  On his back, bobbling the ball, even kicking it at one point, but he snagged it clean, and even got up to run another yard to two.  It would have been remembered as the catch that led the Seahawks to victory, if they had actually won.

Like if they had given the ball the Marshawn Lynch to run it on that 2nd down, but they didn’t.  They threw the ball, and blew the game.  What. the. heck.

Since it doesn’t make any sense to us, Rance Adams hit the streets to see if it made sense to any of you…
