Newton Man Pleads Guilty to Indecent Liberties With Child

Β NEWTON, NC — A Newton man will spend at least 16 years in prison for sex crimes involving a young girl.
Eddie Dover pleaded guilty Tuesday to several counts of sex offense and indecent liberties with a child. Β Detectives say the crimes happened between September and December of 2011, when the girl was 8 years old.
There’s no word how Dover knew the child.
