CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday morning in east Charlotte.
Investigators say a man was shot in the pelvis and taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The shooting took place at the Peppertree Apartments on Central Ave near Kilborne Drive. Police are trying to determine if the victim was shot by someone or if it was a self inflicted wound.
