CHARLOTTE, NC– Whole Foods has released a recall on raw macadamia nuts.
The nuts labeled “Whole Foods Market Raw Macadamia Nuts” have been linked to salmonella that causes foodborne illnesses.
The recall effects packages with sell-by dates of 4/22/15, 5/4/15 and 5/6/16 and have UPC code of 7-23055-21415-3.
No illnesses have been caused by the nuts but if you have packages relating to the recall , discard them and contact the store for a refund.
