IREDELL HEALTH SYSTEM HOSTS DEMENTIA CARE EXPERT TEEPA SNOW

Caring for the Person with Dementia Join us at the Statesville Civic Center on February 17 and 18 for a special four-session event designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of persons who provide medical care for persons with dementia patients and their families. Among the areas of focus will be care and communication techniques appropriate to the patient and their hospitalization or continued care outside the hospital. This will be especially helpful for the staff of nursing homes and assisted living facilities who provide hands-on care.
