Β YORK CO, S.C.– Β Officials with the South Carolina Patrol say that one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in York County on Bowater Road Sunday morning.Β
The accident happened just before 4a.m. and officials say that Β Benjamin Adam Kelly, 20, was the driver of Β the 1995 Nissan SUV that drove off of the left side of the road and hit several trees.Β
Kelly was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Officials say that Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.Β
