Negative Test Results After Measles Scare In Cleveland County

SHELBY, N.C. — Officials say the test results are in after a measles scare in Cleveland County.

Two patients received negative test results for measles.  The Cleveland County Health Department said they had two patients with symptoms consistent to measles last week.

However, both of the patients have been cleared and do not have the disease.  The health department wants to remind people that you can protect your children against Measles with a combination vaccine that provides protection against Measles, Mumps and Rubella.
