CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a teenager has been arrested after he robbed someone he met on social media.
The suspect, 18-year-old Asean Chisholm, is accused of robbing the victim of a gaming console Sunday morning on Allegiance Drive.
The victim arranged to meet the suspect under the impression that they were trading gaming systems.
The suspect is accused of taking the victim’s bag and getting in a vehicle. Investigators say the victim’s foot was ran over by the vehicle as the victim tried to get the bag back.
Police were able to identify the suspect as Chisholm. He was arrested Monday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
