CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a teenager has been arrested after he robbed someone he met on social media. Β
The suspect, 18-year-old Asean Chisholm, is accused of robbing the victim of a gaming console Sunday morning on Allegiance Drive. Β
The victim arranged to meet the suspect under the impression that they were trading gaming systems. Β
The suspect is accused of taking the victim’s bag and getting in a vehicle. Β Investigators say the victim’s foot was ran over by the vehicle as the victim tried to get the bag back. Β
Police were able to identify the suspect as Chisholm. Β He was arrested Monday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Β
