Two Teens Arrested On B&E Charges

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two suspects were arrested on breaking and entering charges after police received a call in reference to a suspicious person.

On Friday evening, February 6th, police responded to a call at the intersection of Riding Hill Ave. and Glenluce Ave. Police received a suspicious persons call from the residential neighborhood and while en-route to the call, an alarm call was also generated from a home on Riding Hill Ave.

Responding officers arrived and quickly identified two teenagers, Brandon Delacerda and Johnny Reid, in connection with the breaking and entering. The suspects were detained for further investigation, which revealed they had already taken property out of the residence. Both suspects were placed under arrest and the stolen property was returned to the victim.

After a series of interviews, both Mr. Delacerda and Mr. Reid were charged with felony Breaking and Entering, Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Goods and Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering.
