Two Found Dead After Suspicious Fire In Mount Holly, Police Searching For Teen

MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. — Officials say two people are dead after a suspicious house fire in Mount Holly.
The Gaston County Police say the fire was reported around 5 a.m. on Ridgeway Court near Kern Lane. Neighbors reported hearing a large bang before seeing the home on fire.
Police have not released the identifies of the deceased at this time.
Investigators are currently searching for Treyvon (T.J.) Berry, a 17-year-old male who also lived at the home. Police say they want to check on Berry’s well-being. Police would not say if Berry is a suspect in the suspicious fire and deaths.
Police are also looking for a 1995 green Suburban with license plate number CDV-1753. The vehicle has a loud muffler and passenger side damage.
