Your kid’s weight could get you into trouble.  Lawmakers are considering a plan that would fine parents of overweight children as much as $800.  It’s being batted about in Puerto Rico right now.  Once a kid has been identified, government workers would figure out a diet and exercise plan, but if the kids don’t shape up within 6 months, mom and dad have to pay.

So is it really that much of a jump to make parents pay if their kids are living an unhealthy lifestyle?  Or is it way over the line?
