CHARLOTTE, NC– The Charlotte area could be seeing snow fall as early as Monday evening.
A winter storm is expected to come through the Charlotte area bringing a possible two inches of snow along with more freezing temperatures.
A wintry mix of freezing rain and snow beginning Monday night through Tuesday could bring up to five inches of snowfall to some North Carolina areas.
Travelers are warned to watch out on roads due to freezing rain and sleet Tuesday morning.
