INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Dallas is still debating whether to use the franchise tag on Dez Bryant even as the team attempts to work out a new, longer team deal with their top receiver.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones says if they do tag Bryant, he expects the receiver to accept it like a “pro.” Jones is in Indianapolis for the NFL’s annual scouting combine,

The deadline to tag players is March, and Bryant already appears to be frustrated even though he would collect $12 million to $13 million — if the Cowboys make the expected move. He tweeted that he wished the Cowboys were as dedicated to him as he is to them.

A long-term deal with Bryant could help them re-sign DeMarco Murray, the NFL’s reigning rushing champion.
