KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The College Basketball Hall of Fame has announced its eight newest electees. The class of 2015 includes two-time All-American John Havlicek (HAHV’-lih-chehk), Indiana star Quinn Buckner, longtime coach Lou Henson, former Kansas State star Rolando Blackman, North Carolina All-American Charlie Scott, Long Beach State standout Ed Ratleff, Dayton coach Don Donoher (don-UH’-hur) and Langston coach C. Felton “Zip” Gayles.
UNDATED (AP) — Alex Rodriguez has issued a five-paragraph handwritten apology “for the mistakes that led to my suspension” without detailing specifics about his use of performance-enhancing drugs. He apologized to team officials of the Yankees in person during a meeting at the ballpark on Feb. 10.
