Should Schools Toughen Up When It Comes to Weather?

Another night of record-breaking cold has Charlotte-Mecklenburg and other school district across our area delaying classes, or even canceling them this week.  School districts tell us getting to work is one thing, but deciding whether hundreds of employees and thousands of students should hit the roads can be a challenging task, with sometimes hazardous consequences.
