LOWELL, N.C. — Police need your help identifying two ‘persons of interest’ in a sexual assault case that happened at a local movie theater. Β
Investigators say a child was sexually assaulted inside the bathroom at Regal Cinemas at Franklin Square in Lowell. Β The incident happened Saturday, Feb. 21st. Β
Police say the first person of interest is described as a black male, in his teens or early 20’s. Β He was wearing a blue hoodie with a Superman ‘S’ on his chest, black pants (possibly with a stripe down the legs) and white shoes. Β Police say he weighs approximately 135-165 pounds and was between 5’5″-5’9″ tall. Β
The second person of interest is described as a white female, approximately 55-65 years-old with grey hair. Β Police believe she weighs 180-200 pounds and was between 5’2″-5’7″ tall. Β
Anyone with information on these individuals is asked to call 911 immediately. Β
