LOWELL, N.C. — Police need your help identifying two ‘persons of interest’ in a sexual assault case that happened at a local movie theater.
Investigators say a child was sexually assaulted inside the bathroom at Regal Cinemas at Franklin Square in Lowell. The incident happened Saturday, Feb. 21st.
Police say the first person of interest is described as a black male, in his teens or early 20’s. He was wearing a blue hoodie with a Superman ‘S’ on his chest, black pants (possibly with a stripe down the legs) and white shoes. Police say he weighs approximately 135-165 pounds and was between 5’5″-5’9″ tall.
The second person of interest is described as a white female, approximately 55-65 years-old with grey hair. Police believe she weighs 180-200 pounds and was between 5’2″-5’7″ tall.
Anyone with information on these individuals is asked to call 911 immediately.
