GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — All 64 Reds players reported to camp for the first full-squad workout on Tuesday, with a lot of the attention still on the starting rotation.

The Reds created two openings for starters when it traded Mat Latos and Alfredo Simon in the offseason. Right-hander Anthony DeSclafani — obtained from Miami in the Latos trade — left-hander Tony Cingrani and right-hander Raisel Iglesias are considered front-runners in the competition.

Cincinnati signed 36-year-old Jason Marquis to a minor league deal and invited him to camp, giving him a chance to win one of the spots. Marquis went 9-5 with a 4.05 ERA in 20 starts for the Padres last season.
