UPDATE: CMPD officials say that Travis Perez, who was reported missing on Saturday has been found.
Police say that aΒ citizen recognized Perez in north Charlotte and called 911. The caller remained with Β Perez until officers arrived. He was unharmed and will be reunited with his family.Β
Β CHARLOTTE, N.C.– TheΒ Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Person Unit is conducting an investigation into the disappearance of Travis Sherman Perez. Β
Police say that Perez was reported missing by his father saturday afternoon andΒ was last seen on foot in the area of Aberglen Drive Around 11:30 Saturday morning.
Officials say that Perez is described as having high-functioning Autism and there is some concern for his safety. Β He was last seen wearing a blue pullover jacket, blue pants and white sneakers and is described as a 27-year-oldΒ Asian male with black hair and brown eyes, standingΒ 5’5″ and weighing 145 poundsΒ
