COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) β Rain postponed the final game of Clemson and South Carolina’s yearly baseball series until today. South Carolina announced the postponement of Sunday’s contest at Carolina Stadium due to inclement weather. The third game of the series will take place this afternoon at 4 p.m.
HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) β Jimmie Johnson pulled away after the final restart with 13 laps to go yesterday, winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Johnson, a six-time Cup champion, started near the back after failing to get in a qualifying run because of inspection issues.
