Prosecutors Seek Death Penalty in Chapel Hill Murders

CHAPEL HILL, NC — The man accused of killing three Muslim students last month in Chapel Hill could get the death penalty.

Monday, prosecutors said they will seek capital punishment for Craig Hicks.  Hicks was charged with first degree murder after confessing to the killings.  Police will not say if he gave them a motive.

Hicks’ next hearing is in April.
