CHARLOTTE, NC– A press conference to discuss police and race relations will be held Sunday.
CMPD along with North Carolina Local Barbershop Association will hold a town hall event 3pm Sunday, March 8th at Naomi Drenan Recreation Center.
The event was created to open an honest dialogue on matters involving police interaction with the young African American community and the appropriate manner in which to conduct themselves when coming in contact with police.
These important topics come after several recent police involved incidents with young African Americans across the country.
