CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Charlotte- Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating after a woman was shot at the 5900 block of Timbertop Lane just before 11:00 Saturday morning.
According to officials, the woman was shot in the foot and has non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Novant matthews to recieve treatment.
Police say that the shooting was not random and that they are still investigating.
