Waiting Child: Thomas

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-  This week’s Waiting Child is a gamer who loves the Panthers and hopes to learn Spanish in the next couple years.

This is Thomas, he’s13 years old and in the 8th grade.  Today he’s buying video games.  He says it’s not an easy task, “I hate crappy graphics.”

Thomas spends most of his time checking out the games and asking questions, “I’m about to get as much as games as possible. I have twenty dollars”.

Next year is a big year for Thomas.  he will be entering high school, “I do want to start drivers Ed and I want to learn Spanish and French”.  Spanish class should not be hard for him, he already knows a few words,  “Hola, como estas”.

When it comes to sports he’s a huge Panthers fan.  He wants to play either quarter back, left tackle or wide receiver.  He’s taking after some of his favorite players,  “Byron Bell, Cam Newton and Luke Keuchley”
