
ROCK HILL, S.C. — A Rock Hill Police officer was allegedly shot at during a pursuit Monday night. Β
Investigators say Sgt. Tony Breeden stopped a vehicle on Heckle Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Β A passenger immediately jumped out of the vehicle and ran on foot, according to a police report. Β
Police say that suspect, Roshad Blanding, fired one round at Breeden while he was being chased. Β The bullet did not hit the officer. Β
Blanding was located several hours later at his girlfriend’s house on Locust Street. Β He was charged with attempted murder. Β
