
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A call into a drug tip line helped police catch three alleged drug offenders.
Police conducted surveillance operations outside a home on Hawksnest Lane in Stanley after investigators received several complaints about suspicious activity being conducted at the house.
Officers say they stopped a vehicle that left the home and secured a search warrant for the residence. Β
The driver of the vehicle, Michael Kay, was charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance. Β
Christopher Cline, 23, was inside the home when police executed the search warrant. Β He was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance, sell and deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Police say they seized one gram of heroin and one gram of meth from the residence. Β
Investigators say Dustin Mann, 24, was also in the house and had three and a half grams of marijuana in a backpack packaged for sell. Β He was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Β
