Two Huntersville Schools Placed On Lockdown Following Threat

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Barnette Elementary in Huntersville was placed on lockdown at 11:15 am because of a telephone threat.

The lockdown was lifted at 11:50, and the school remains on a modified lockdown, meaning no one can go in or come out, but the students can move freely.

Bradley Middle School was also put on lockdown from 11:15 -11:50 as a precaution, but the lockdown has been lifted.

No other details have been released at this time.
