ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — Two men are behind bars after police say they assaulted a man Friday night leaving him in critical condition.
Investigators say Justen Bradey, 29, and David Reames, 53, assaulted John Minor, 54, at a home on Lori Lane.
Minor was found unresponsive and police started CPR on him until emergency medial personnel arrived on the scene. Minor is currently in the ICU at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Bradey has been charged with assault by strangulation and assault inflicting serious bodily injury. He is in jail on a $75,000 bond.
Reames has been charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury. He is in jail on a $60,000 bond.
