ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A former Catawba College soccer coach will spend the rest of his life behind bars after entering a guilty plea on child sex charges.
Ralph Wager was sentenced in court Tuesday. Β He was facing numerous charges including: first degree child sex offense, taking indecent liberties with a child and crimes against nature.
Investigators say Wager sexually assaulted a child from 1987 to 1989. Β The child was allegedly participating in sports activities that were being held at Catawba College.
