Kylie Jenner Defends ‘Blackface’ Instagram Post

 Kylie Jenner is under fire for posting pictures of herself which appear to show her in blackface.  Kylie originally posted the picture Saturday night, saying, “What I wish I looked like all the time.”  When she received backlash, Jenner deleted the photo, but then re-posted it to Instagram saying, “This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down.”

Jenner’s friend Zendaya initially gushed over the photo, but changed her tune after fans pointed out the problematic blackface element.  On Twitter, she said, “At first, I saw more of an avatar look but thank ya’ll for keepin me on point… we all gotta stay aware of what image we project. #lessons”

So what do you think?  Were the pictures in bad taste?  Or is everyone overreacting?
