CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) β Qualifier Lucie Hrdecka beat fourth-seeded Sara Errani 6-2, 6-4, sending another of the Family Circle Cup’s top players home earlier than expected. Top-seeded Eugenie Bouchard lost Wednesday and No. 2 seed Ekaterina Makarova withdrew hours later with a stomach illness. Defending champ and third-seeded Andrea Petkovic is the only one of the tournament’s top four seeds remaining.
