KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Police are searching for a woman who was allegedly involved in a shooting in Kannapolis.
Investigators say Cierra Roseboro was in a vehicle with a man who is accused of shooting Samuel Smith on Cabarrus Arms Drive in Kannapolis.
Witnesses say they saw a black Ford Crown Victoria pull up to a vehicle Smith was sitting in. The shooter is accused of getting out of the Crown Victoria and opening fire on Smith. Smith was shot multiple times.
The shooter, an unknown male, allegedly got back in the vehicle with Roseboro and left the scene.
Smith is still in the hospital recovering from the shooting. Roseboro is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill charges. Police say the alleged shooter has yet to be identified.
Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call 911.
