Police Charge 2nd Suspect For Stealing Safe And Firearms

LINCOLNTON, NC– Police have reportedly charged a second man in connection with a theft of firearms, cash and coins from a Lincoln County home.

Authorities charged Daniel Brandon Houser, 26, with felony larceny, four counts of larceny of a firearm, and five counts of possession of stolen goods.

Houser had reportedly been hired to do repair work at a home on Old Barn Road in Lincolnton, but when the owner noticed a safe, containing cash, collectible coins and six firearms were missing she reported it to police.

Houser was arrested Friday and placed under a $25,000 bond at Lincoln County Detention Center.

Co-defendant Jeremy McDougal was arrested on April, 13th for charges related to the theft.
