House Fire in West Charlotte Displaces Family

Β CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A family has been displaced from their home after it caught fire Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials say that the fire started at the home in the 400 block of Grandin Road around 4:30. When they arrived on the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home.

According to officials, 36 Fire Fighters helped to control the burn in 33 minutes andΒ Β two engines had to be added to the call due to water hydrant issues. Β 

No injuries were reported.
