Β CHESTERFIELD CO., N.C.– Β A woman from Concord died in a crash in Chesterfield County just before 8:30 Saturday night.Β
Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say that Alberta Rorie Thunderburk, 66, Β was driving south on Highway 52 near Four Loop Road when Bryan Jay McManus, 39, Β who was driving north in the wrong lane struck Thunderburk’s car.Β
Officials say that McManus was injured and flown by helicopter to McLeod Health Hospital in Florence, South Carolina and Β Thunderberk was pronounced deceased at the scsne.Β
Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.Β
The accident is still under investigation.Β
