
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy has been suspended without pay for the first 10 games of the 2015 season, according to the NFL. Β

Hardy was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list after he was arrested on domestic assault charges in Charlotte last season. Β
Hardy signed with the Dallas Cowboys after the 2014 season. Β His first game back from his suspension will be against the Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving Day. Β
HardyΒ was convicted of domestic violence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Holder. Β He appealed the decision and the case went to a jury trial. However, Holder did not show up for the trial so all the charges were dismissed.
