INDIANAPOLIS (AP) β€” Trent Cole has already learned one valuable lesson about his new team.

In Indianapolis, avoid mentioning the Patriots by name whenever possible.

Three months after the Colts lost to the Patriots in the AFC championship game, Indy’s newest pass rusher says he understands why the rivalry is so heated.

He’s hardly alone. Andrew Luck says the embarrassment of January’s 45-7 loss partly fuels his motivation this season. When the schedule was released Tuesday night, Luck and most of his teammates were eager to find out when the Patriots would be coming to town for their post-deflategate rematch.

That game, Oct. 18, begins a five-week succession of star-studded quarterbacks for the Colts: Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan.
