CHARLOTTE, NC — What’s going on in Baltimore is creating a ripple effect across the country, including right here in Charlotte.

WCCB Charlotte anchors Morgan Fogarty and Will Kennedy invited community activists, parents, lawyers and CMPD Homicide Detective Garry McFadden to Da Lucky Spot Barber Shop in west Charlotte to talk about the relationship between the African-American community and police in the Queen City.

“We’re all frustrated for so long,” said Da Lucky Spot owner Shaun Corbett.  “But it doesn’t matter whether you’re white or black, if you’ve got to bury your child, that pain is universal.  It don’t matter what you look like when you look in the mirror.”
