CHARLOTTE, NC– The Charlotte woman who survived the earthquake in Nepal, has returned home Thursday.
Ashleigh Stumler was reportedly climbing Mount Everest when the earthquake hit Saturday.
Stumler says she held onto a tree to survive the quake and was not hurt, after descending the mountain Stumler says she gave blood to help theΒ many people injured in Nepal.
Stumler, who lives in Plaza Midwood, returned to Charlotte Douglas International Thursday to the relief of her family and friends.
