CHARLOTTE, NC — With online transactions gone wrong making more and more headlines, people are seeking new ways to stay safe when making transactions off of sites like Craigslist.

Police departments around the country are starting to offer their parking lots as meeting spots to conduct the selling and purchasing deals that start in online marketplaces. However, officers will not get involved with the deal.

In this edition of Crowdsourced, Rising wanted to know how you felt about these recent offers for added safety, whether you thought they were effective, and ask what precautions you take when dealing with online deals.
