CHARLOTTE, NC– Two Charlotte men have been convicted and sentenced for raping a woman.
Authorities say Davan Lashawn Bynum Jr., 17 and Resean Tyquan Lindsay, 17, pled guilty to raping a woman in April 2014, as she walked home in Charlotte.
Bynum and Lindsay pled guilty Wednesday to two counts of first degree rape, two counts of first degree sex offense and first degree kidnapping, they were both sentenced to a minimum of 35 years in prison.
