CATAWBA COUNTY, NC — A teen who killed two of his friends in a car crash has been indicted.
Authorities say Jacob Turner, 19, was indicted on two counts of involuntary manslaughter, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and assault with a deadly weapon for a crash, killing two passengers while he was driving in October.
Passengers Sigmon and Justin Turner, both 15 years old were killed in the crash that happened off River Bend Road in Claremont.
