UPDATE: Police arrested Barbara Aistrop for her involvement in the ‘fight club’. She has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
CHINA GROVE, NC – Police are searching for two more suspects after a “fight club” led to threats online. Those threats put South Rowan High School on lockdown Thursday.
Police say 16-year-old Joseph Stanback fought 17-year-old Austin Sloop and 16-year-old Sebastian Johnson at the end of Hazel Street in China Grove. Videos of the fights were posted on Facebook.
Tonight police are still looking for Johnson and 41-year-old Barbara Aistrop. Investigators say she’s seen in the video laying out the “ground rules” for the fight.
South Rowan High went on lockdown after police say online posts connected to the fights stated a “squad” was coming to the campus to “shoot the skool up (sic).”
Investigators traced those threats to 17-year-old William Towell.
