Fans Watch World’s Top Drivers Practice Ahead of All-Star Race

CHARLOTTE, NC — We’re less than 24 hours away from the NASCAR Spring All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and fans say they can’t wait.

Race day events kick off Saturday morning at 10:00, but many fans plan to arrive even earlier to tailgate. Β Friday, they got to watch the world’s top drivers practice for the last time.

“I love to come to Charlotte,” said Lumberton resident Wanda Lynch. Β “I’ve been coming here since I was about 10 years old. Β Used to pull for Richard Petty, and now I’ve moved on to Jimmy Johnson.”
